Crested Butte Local Events
It seems there is always a reason to celebrate in Crested Butte. You can plan your visit almost any time of the year and there is bound to be something going on in or around town.
During the winter months while the ski area is open there are many activities on the ski mountain including ski and snowboard competitions, holiday celebrations, the annual Christmas parade, and much more.
Summer is no longer an off-season for the area. After the ski area closes the Spring and Summer events are launched with the Faluschink parade and weekend of celebration. Soon followed by national kayaking competitions on the raging rivers around town, Fat Tire Bike Week, The Wildflower Festival and much much more.
