Where ever you choose to stay, the three areas are within a close proximity of 3 miles and are the two towns are connected year-round with a FREE local shuttle called theMountain Express. In addition to providing service between the two towns, the Mountain Express shuttle also serves many of the private condos in Mt. Crested Butte. Town of Crested Butte

Crested Butte is the site of an old mining town. It was established in 1881 as a gold mining base. The town is home to approximately 2000 full-time residents and there is a certain magic in the scale and style of the old town business district. It is undoubtably the center of activity for the area. On Elk Avenue, the main street, there is a surprising array of fine and casual restaurants, cocktail establishments, art galleries, and shops. Crested Butte is a very pedestrian-friendly town and many of the locals and visitors find that bicycles are the most enjoyable mode of transportation. Mt. Crested Butte

The town of Mt. Crested Butte is a mere two miles up the hill from Crested Butte and is home of the Crested Butte Ski Resort. It is also a great home-base if you plan to explore the National Forest surrounding. Many of the properties we offer are situated right on the slopes of the ski mountain. The base area of the ski resort and town offer restaurants, shopping, and entertainment through-out the year. For the most part the homes on the mountain are a little larger in scale than Crested Butte. There are also many condominium options available within close proximity of the ski area. The Club at Crested Butte

Located just a little more than one mile south of Crested Butte, The Club at Crested Butte is a golf resort community. During the warmer months the links are just outside your door. There is also a Club House with amenities and is a quick drive or bike ride to town. Anytime of the year, we believe you will find the setting breathtakingly beautiful.
